Introduction to my thoughts

I cannot express how serious I am about this statement, NO MORE FINAL FANTASY VII!!

There are many reasons I feel this way, and would like some of the whiners of the Final Fantasy (FF) realm to see where this is coming from.
Where I wanna start with this is the lore of Final Fantasy itself. No single FF has ever been the same, the next one has always improved upon the last, while taking elements of the previous and shifting them into something different.
Many fans jumped on the FF wagon in 1997 when it was released in America for the Sony PlayStation, with the title of Final Fantasy VII. This FF was the first of its kind, moving from the bit like characters of the previous, to the polygonal characters of this game, creating an almost 3 dimensional world to walk around in.
Now like the previous it included, chocobos, airships, summons and magic. All done in a different way to make this game what it is today.
It also introduced some of our favorite characters in this realm, the guarded and quite Cloud Striffe, the girl who could pack a punch Tiffa Lockheart, hot head one armed gunner Barrett, lovable Cait Sith and his Mog, adorable clumsy Ninja Yuffie Kisaragi, chain smoking airship captain Cid Highwind, quiet vampiric Vincent Valentine, and one of the most beloved characters due to her tragic story, Aerith Gainsborough.
Of course this game brought about one of the greatest and most note able villains FF has ever seen, a man bent on complete destruction, Sephiroth son of Jenova.
While all of these characters are great, and memorable, and while I love FFVII, as it was a turning point in the way the game was done. I am getting sick and tired of the whiners out there comparing every FF following to the late and great FFVII.
To me although they all share the title of FF, comparing the games is always going to be comparing apples an oranges. The game is never nor will it ever be the same game twice!
FF is a continuing evolution of the game, with tie ins to the game that preceded the last, as it should be, if every game that came out was like FFVII I wouldn't need to buy the next game now would I? I could just continue to play FFVII over and over, which is not something I would ever want to do.
In this blog I would like to start with FFI and work my way up, as more games continue to be made, next to be released FFXIII-2, and continue on, hitting the great points of each game and what makes every game different, and why we should love each and every game that comes out.
